The ACGI Team has the capability and experience to assess/evaluate your current Flight Operations Manual against the protocols/standards (pre-audit task). We can determine whether the manual meets the requirements of the International Standard. A matrix is created showing the areas that conform and areas that may need expanded guidance.
The IS-BAO FOM template has been used as the core of our Enhanced ACGI/IS-BAO FOM Template. ACGI has incorporated additional content and topics that are typical of a U.S. Flight Department (or JAR-OPS) providing guidance that is appropriate to operations and compliant with Title 14 Code of Federal Regulations. A current operator's FOM can be incorporated into the Enhanced ACGI/IS-BAO FOM Template.
The Enhanced ACGI/IS-BAO FOM Template has been organized to address IS-BAO standards and required protocols. These standards/protocols are presented to the operator/client under each topic/heading in italicized color-coded font. This enables the client to see the associated standard/protocol and understand why the information is in the manual. This also provides an easy reference to a particular standard for additional information.
If the operator chooses to use the Enhanced ACGI/IS-BAO FOM Template, the document will be posted progressively online for reviewer(s) to a secured flight operations site. This process provides a way for the Chief Pilot, assigned Captain(s), and Chief of Maintenance to continually track the progress of the overall project and allow easy access to the developing manual for other contributing operations/maintenance personnel.
Once the FOM reaches the final draft stage, the standards/protocols are removed and placed in an Audit Protocol Matrix to reduce the pre-audit / audit effort. A table is also placed in an Appendix for future reference when making revisions to the approved FOM.
