Flight Attendant Manual

Flight Attendants are critical to the Safety of Flight and are active participants in the company Safety Management System. This manual is a combination of policy and procedures for use by Flight Attendants in planning and executing safe and efficient flights.
The Flight Attendant Manual has been successfully used since 2003. ACGI continues to incorporate additional content and procedures that support a successful Stage One, Two, and Three IS-BAO audit. The manual provides guidance that is appropriate to the operator.

Addresses the organization, responsibilities, and duties (accountabilities) for the Pilot-in-Command and Flight Attendants. This section includes company policy, Duty Schedules, Jump Seat, Equipment, In-flight Illness, etc.

Describes the Sterile Cockpit philosophies and procedures, communication with crew, Passenger Briefings and Issues, Oxygen (use and need), Fire Prevention and Control, Evacuation Procedures, company SMS description, etc.

Describes aircraft Exits and Doors, Door Inoperative Procedures, First Aid Medical Kits, AEDs,

Guidance for Assessing the Threat, Preventive Measures, Responsive Measures, Flight Department Security Procedures, etc.

Includes Preflight, Pre-Departure, Inflight, Prior to Arrival on Ramp, Arrival Away from Home Base and at Home Base Checklists. Restocking Procedures and Inventory Checklists, International Garbage Disposal Guidelines are also included.

Initial and Recurrent Training requirements including CPR and First Aid Training are described.

Catering, Proper Food Handling, and Customer Service Appendices are provided.
