The Flight Operations Manual includes the following: Safety Management System, Organization and Administration, Operating Procedures, Training Program, Emergency Response Procedures, Maintenance Program, Security Program, Company Forms, and Company Directives. All required forms, including sample forms and explanations are provided. Forms are designed to support the SMS process and analysis of data. Tools are offered to assist in the development of the Flight Department's Safety Risk Profile and Safety Performance Goal(s). Appendices are reserved for operator specific, custom content (Standard Operating Procedures, Cold Weather Operations, etc.).
The SMS is customized to reflect on the Flight Department's current operations and procedures. The implementation of the SMS is facilitated by experienced auditors and trained subject matter experts. The development effort includes an implementation plan and SMS Training for all Flight Department personnel. Our team is available to answer questions throughout the development process to ensure a full understanding of the SMS. All graphics and flow charts depicting your Flight Department's SMS process, risk management, accountabilities and responsibilities are created and included.
The FOM / SMS can be accomplished online, onsite at your Flight Department base(s) located in any part of the world, or in the offices of Assessment Compliance Group, Inc. in Rockville, MD USA. We have provided support to over 150 operators worldwide. Early morning or late evening sessions are available for our operators in various time zones. Safety Management System Manual: The Safety Management System and IS-BAO protocols integrate throughout a successful Flight Operations Manual. This option is for those operators that require a stand-alone Safety Management System Manual to supplement an existing Flight Operations Manual where the existing manual cannot be modified.
